A summary report 19 4 Study two Research objectives and methodology Research objectives The first objective of this research was to examine the nature, cause and probability of survival in a cohort of prehospital deaths. A second objective was to identify which, if any, interventions might reduce the number of preventable deaths, with a view to informing first aid education.
